Many products supplied by Asia Star are fresh agricultural products and therefore naturally vary.

Fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and similar products may reasonably differ in:

  • Ripeness
  • Sweetness
  • Appearance
  • Natural markings

These natural variations are normal characteristics of agricultural produce and do not necessarily indicate that a product is defective or of unacceptable quality.

We make reasonable efforts to select, handle, store, and supply products that meet our quality standards at the time of preparation and delivery.

6. Product Images & Descriptions

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product photographs, descriptions, origins, weights, quantities, and other information displayed on our Platform are accurate and helpful.

However, product photographs are primarily provided for illustrative purposes.

Actual products may vary slightly from images displayed on our website due to:

7. Product Weight & Quantity

Because of the natural characteristics of fresh produce, actual supplied weight may reasonably differ from an indicated approximate weight.

Where the final quantity or measured weight affects the amount payable, any adjustment will be handled in accordance with the information provided through our Platform and applicable law.

8. Prices & VAT

Unless otherwise stated, all prices displayed on our Platform are in UAE Dirhams (AED).

All prices displayed for items on our website are exclusive of VAT.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that prices displayed on our Platform are accurate and current. However, occasional technical, typographical, or pricing errors may occur.

We reserve the right to update product prices from time to time due to market conditions, seasonal availability, supplier pricing, import costs, or other legitimate business considerations.

14. Receiving & Inspecting Your Order

Customers are encouraged to inspect their orders as soon as reasonably possible following delivery, particularly fresh, chilled, frozen, or perishable products.

Please contact our customer-service team promptly if:

  • An item is missing
  • An incorrect item has been delivered
  • A product is damaged
  • Fresh produce appears spoiled or materially below reasonable quality standards at delivery
  • The delivered quantity materially differs from the order
  • There is another genuine quality issue

We may reasonably request photographs, the order number, product details, or other relevant information to assess the issue.

15. Perishable Products

Fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, chilled products, frozen products, and certain other food products are perishable and may require appropriate handling and storage immediately following delivery.

Customers are responsible for following appropriate storage instructions after receiving their order.

Quality concerns involving perishable products should be reported promptly so that the condition of the product at or shortly after delivery can reasonably be assessed.

Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

16. Returns, Replacements & Refunds

Customer satisfaction and product quality are important to ASIA STAR FOODSTUFF TRADING L.L.C.

Because many of our products are fresh, chilled, frozen, perishable, or sensitive to storage and handling, returns based solely on a change of mind may not always be available.

Where a product is damaged, defective, incorrect, missing, spoiled at delivery, or otherwise does not meet applicable requirements, we will assess the matter and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

This provision does not create liability beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
